Lindsay Reade Oij Sign Permits Plus was founded in 2014. Lindsay Oij was part of the original team that was hired to help with a 125-location sign change-out throughout Florida. After the job was completed, Lindsay continued with the company as a full-time employee as demand for her services continued to grow. Over the next eight years, Lindsay expanded her permitting knowledge, handled in-person permitting and electronic submittals with a few variances thrown in for good measure. Lindsay gradually became more involved in the business end of things, and in April of 2022, she took over the Sign Permits Plus name and ownership of the company with a new entity, LRO LLC dba Sign Permits Plus. Lindsay’s experience with the permitting process is integral to the success the company has been able to achieve. Of course, she measures her success in positive feedback from her customers whose projects become a little less complex, complete their permitting a little sooner, and receive responsive answers to their questions. Her goal is to help take the hassle out of permitting. Lindsay is a great relationship-builder, and both her customers and key staff the cities and counties can attest to that. Those relationships help in every way. Customers enjoy her sense of humor, friendly demeanor, and positive attitude. Sign reviewers benefit from receiving well organized, complete plans from someone who knows the system. Most of her new customers come from direct referrals from City staff or current customers.

Rachel Fouts, Permitting Specialist

Rachel joined the company in 2021 as a part-time employee, and became a full-time Permitting Specialist in 2022 as Lindsay took over the leadership of Sign Permits Plus. Rachel is a natural organizer who learned the permitting process quickly. Her friendly nature and attention to detail make her a pleasure to work with. She handles electronic submittals, contractor licensing updates, permit renewals and extensions. Rachel is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and worked as a Manager for the UPS Store prior to her employment with Sign Permits Plus.
